Job Summary
The Member Services Representative will greet members, prospective members and guests, check them in, assist with new member sign-up, take tours, and respond to questions. This role supports a positive member experience through front desk duties, account updates, and maintaining club appearance, with escalation to Assistant Manager or Manager as needed. Requires strong customer service, basic computer skills, a positive, proactive demeanor, reliability, and the ability to interact professionally with members and staff in a fitness-club environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma/GED equivalent required
- Must be 16 years of age or older
- Customer service background preferred
- Basic computer proficiency
- A passion for fitness and health
- Upbeat and positive attitude
- Punctuality and reliability is a must
- Exceptional customer service skills; able to interact in a positive and professional way with members and co-workers
- Strong listener with the ability to empathize and problem solve
- Demonstrate diplomacy in all interactions while using appropriate behavior and language
