Job Summary
Member Services Representative assists Members with a superior experience by promoting Meridian’s products and services, providing referrals based on identified needs, handling transactions accurately, maintaining confidentiality, and participating in branch/community activities. The role requires prior customer service experience, cash-handling as an asset, proficiency with Microsoft Office and Outlook, strong communication and problem-solving abilities, and flexibility to work evenings and Saturdays in an in-office setting at Meridian Credit Union in Kincardine, ON. Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or relevant working experience
- Previous work experience in a customer service role, with cash handling experience as an asset
- Flexibility to work all scheduled hours which include some evenings and Saturdays
- Proven understanding of computer systems and programs including Microsoft Office, and Outlook
- Strong negotiation, interpersonal, written, and oral communications skills
- Effective organizational time management, and problem-solving skills
