Job Summary
Process and respond to member complaints, disputes, and billing issues while managing member applications, program registrations, and merchandise orders. Maintain facility and vehicle schedules, oversee office supplies, and ensure all safety procedures and YMCA standards are followed. Lead in-service trainings, assist in staff recruitment and development, and manage assigned budgets for program areas. Cover all assigned Member Services and Playcare shifts, including evenings and weekends, while reporting suspicious behaviors per mandated reporting requirements. Submit accurate timecards and complete required online trainings, including child abuse prevention, within seven days of hire.
Required Qualifications
- One or more years of related experience including staff supervision
- Experience with program development and budget management
- Strong administrative and computer skills, including working with Microsoft suite, Google suite, program and operating software, and internet applications
- Ability to process and problem-solve complex registration processes
- Ability to respond to safety and emergency situations
- Ability to relate well and communicate effectively to a diverse group of individuals in all circumstances
- Pass a comprehensive background check
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Be 21 years of age or older
- Have a current CPR and first-aid certificate or be able to obtain one within 30 days of hire
- Valid driver's license
- Proof of insurance
- 18 years of age or older
- Driving record which meets or exceeds YMCA standards
