Job Summary
Collect and analyze data to resolve eligibility, enrollment, and claims issues for Health, Pension, and Legal benefits in real time. Provide customer service to participants by handling inquiries through vendors, medical, optical, pharmacy, and dental channels while managing accumulated work inventory. Operate multiple information screens to research and answer questions using eligibility processes, COOL/V3, Dynamics, and CRM systems. Ensure all processing meets quality measurement objectives and performance standards. Follow workflows to interpret customer phone and written correspondence. Work under supervision of the Member Services Call Center or Welcome Center Supervisor to assist participants with information for all benefits offered by the Fund.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma
- Reasoning Ability: Above average
- Strong computer skills
- Detailed knowledge of benefits
- Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines
- A demonstrated capability to manipulate and use multiple software programs and macros simultaneously including Excel, Microsoft Word, Windows and Outlook applications
- Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
- Excellent organizational and prioritizing skills
- Strong ability to multitask
- Strong oral and written interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated customer service orientation
- Ability to effectively operate in fast-paced work environment
- Excellent listening skills
- Detail oriented with excellent organization and communication skills
- Experience working directly with customers
- Fluent in multiple languages
- Free of any disciplinary actions
- Available for various work schedules
- Available for Tuesday-Friday 12:00pm-8:00pm
- Available for Saturday 9:00am-5:00pm
