Job Summary
Greet members and guests, answer phone calls, and direct inquiries to appropriate staff. Assist with membership inquiries, process new memberships and renewals, verify credentials, and issue cards. Monitor facility access, check in members, and enforce policies. Collect dues and program fees using various payment methods, reconcile cash drawers, and prepare daily deposits. Provide personalized support for special needs and address feedback or complaints. Perform administrative tasks like data entry and document scanning. Maintain the front desk area, restock supplies, and report facility issues. Work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum age of 18
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office and database software
- Must be able to perform all physical requirements of the position; including walking, standing, bending, reaching and lifting up to 50 lbs. at a time
- Certifications required within 60 days of employment: CPR, First Aid, AED, Oxygen
- Ability to complete the following within 30 days of hire: Child Abuse Prevention training; Bloodborne Pathogens and Sexual Harassment training
