Job Summary
Monitor club cleanliness, conduct regular audits, and balance cash drawers daily while ensuring all members adhere to company policies. Perform club walkarounds, restock retail and janitorial items, and input member information into tablets and point-of-sale systems. Operate equipment such as tanning and HydroMassage, assist with membership promotions, and represent the company at community outreach events. Audit inventory and communicate recommendations to management, while staying proficient in the mobile app and completing required certifications. This role operates within a fitness club environment, requiring long periods of standing and the ability to handle sensitive member data.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- CPR Certification
- AED Certification
- Comfortable standing for long periods of time
- Great communication skills with internal and external customers
- Team-oriented
- Motivated
- Well-organized
- Ability to think critically and evaluate solutions to problems proactively
- Proficient ability in Microsoft Office and using a computer
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
- Familiar with Excel's mission, values, vision, and culture
- Familiar with the Planet Fitness brand and operational requirements
- Must frequently lift and move up to 25 pounds
- Occasionally lift and move objects up to 75 pounds
