Job Summary
Greet members, prospective members, and guests professionally while handling membership inquiries, transactions, and billing questions. Process new memberships, cancellations, and payments using the club's POS system, and assist potential members with tours and sign-ups. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe facility by performing assigned cleaning duties throughout the shift, ensuring weights are returned and restrooms are stocked. Answer phones efficiently and respond promptly to member concerns, escalating issues to management as needed. This role supports the "Judgement Free Zone" culture and requires on-site presence with CPR/AED and Tanning certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 year of age or older
- Ability to work onsite, this is not a remote position
- Upbeat, professional and positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Reliable, punctual and dependable
- Professional, respectful, and solutions-oriented in member and employee interactions
- Commitment to cleanliness and creating a positive member experience
- Ability to learn and apply company cleaning practices, policies, and procedures
- Ability to read and follow verbal and written instructions
- Obtain and maintain CPR/AED Certification within required timeframes
- Obtain Tanning Certification within company required timeframes
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience working in a club fitness setting
- Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and safety standards
- BILINGUAL English/Spanish
