Job Summary
Submit a Sub Availability Form upon hire and complete a new form at least seven days in advance if availability changes. Maintain reasonable communication with club management by replying within 24 hours to accept or deny work shift offers. Monitor and maintain club cleanliness, atmosphere, and inventory levels while conducting regular audits to ensure the club meets Excel standards. Properly input member information into tablets and point of sale systems, audit cash drawers daily, and assist with membership promotions and community outreach. Operate and assist members with equipment and amenities while ensuring all safety policies and state/federal laws are followed. This part-time, nonexempt position requires standing, lifting up to 25 pounds, and working flexible shifts between 4 hours monthly and 20 hours weekly. Sub Team Players do not have supervisory responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- CPR Certification
- AED Certification
- Comfortable standing for long periods of time
- Great communication skills with internal and external customers
- Team-oriented
- Motivated
- Well-organized
- Ability to think critically and evaluate solutions to problems proactively
- Proficient ability in Microsoft Office and using a computer
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
- Familiar with Excel's mission, values, vision, and culture
- Familiar with the Planet Fitness brand and operational requirements
- Must be able to lift and move up to 25 pounds
- Must be able to occasionally lift and move objects up to 75 pounds
