Job Summary
Monitor club cleanliness, atmosphere, and inventory while conducting daily audits and walkarounds to maintain Excel standards. Audit and balance cash drawers, update member information on tablets and point-of-sale systems, and ensure compliance with policies and state/federal laws. Operate equipment, stock retail items, and assist prospects and current members with amenities and issues. Communicate with members, promote the brand, and participate in team meetings to resolve day-to-day concerns. This full-time or part-time role requires CPR/AED certification, standing for long periods, and familiarity with the Planet Fitness brand.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- CPR Certification
- AED Certification
- Comfortable standing for long periods of time
- Great communication skills with internal and external customers
- Team-oriented
- Motivated
- Well-organized
- Ability to think critically and evaluate solutions to problems proactively
- Proficient ability in Microsoft Office and using a computer
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
- Familiar with Excel's mission, values, vision, and culture
- Familiar with the Planet Fitness brand and operational requirements
- Must frequently lift and move up to 25 pounds
- Occasionally lift and move objects up to 75 pounds
