Job Summary
The Member Services Associate provides top-tier customer service to members, guests, and prospects at the service desk, handles membership information, enrollment procedures, and ongoing satisfaction. Responsibilities include overseeing desk interactions, processing sign-ups and payments, promoting memberships and ancillary services (personal training, massage therapy, medically-integrated programs, nutrition services), scheduling appointments via core software, balancing cash drawers and handling credit card policies, enrolling members via contracts, and maintaining communication across departments. The role supports meeting satisfaction metrics and aims to achieve about five shifts per month, with the ability to stand for 3-6 hours per shift.
Required Qualifications
- CPR/AED certification required within 90 days of hire
- High School diploma or GED preferred
- 1 year certificate from college or technical school preferred
- Minimum 6 months of related experience or training preferred
- 2-3 years of sales, reception and computer skills preferred
- Proficient computer skills
- Excellent inter-personal and communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and maintain a professional demeanor
- Must be able to stand for length of shift (3-6 hours)
