Job Summary
Open and close the fitness center, greet members and guests, and assist with membership enrollments, renewals, and account inquiries. Conduct facility walkthroughs to ensure cleanliness and safety, while maintaining accurate records of attendance and processing payments. Answer phones, transfer calls, and provide information on programs, schedules, and policies. Uphold facility policies and support team members as needed. Requires CPR/AED certification within 90 days, high school diploma, and 1 year of customer service experience. Part-time role up to 25 hours per week at $13.73–$15/hour.
Required Qualifications
- CPR/AED certification required within 90 days of hire
- Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to maintain a controlled and professional demeanor
- Must be able to sit, stand or walk for extended periods of time
- Must be able to squat or bend
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to carry up to 10 pounds for short periods of time
- Must be willing and able to actively participate in regular in-service training
- Must be willing and able to maintain minimum fitness levels required to perform duties
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED preferred
- 1 year Customer service experience
- Computer skills and the ability to learn various software
