Job Summary
Process member financial transactions, wire transfers, and business account services while maintaining accurate cash drawer balances and daily deposits. Provide general information about Credit Union services, resolve member concerns on first contact, and cross-sell products to support financial wellness. Handle debit card creation, check orders, and supply ordering while adhering to dress standards and confidentiality protocols. Maintain knowledge of financial regulations and perform miscellaneous duties as assigned. Adhere to assigned branch schedule and attendance expectations.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- One year of customer service or relevant experience
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling transactions
- Proficient math skills and ability to process account transactions accurately
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as a team member
- Ability to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity, such as processing paperwork, typing, filing, and handling cash
- Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods as required by job duties
- Ability to occasionally lift and move items weighing up to 20–40 pounds
- Ability to reach and operate keyboards and other standard office equipment
- Ability to operate basic office machines and technology, including computers, calculators, telephones, and multifunction printers
- Must be eligible for membership at ICCU to obtain employment
