Job Summary
Process member financial transactions via phone, mail, or in person, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments. Open new accounts through Online Account Opening, manage entity updates, and recommend deposit products like Rewards Plus Checking, CDs, and IRAs. Assist members with digital solutions such as mobile wallets, remote deposit capture, e-statements, bill pay, and Zelle. Answer loan inquiries, quote rates and terms, and originate initial applications while referring complex cases to specialized lending teams. Balance assigned cash drawers daily, maintaining accuracy within specified limits, and share financial education with members and colleagues.
Required Qualifications
- One month to twelve months of similar or related experience
- A high school education or GED
- Working knowledge of basic computer skills and applications including email and word processing functions
- Use/operate a computer keyboard and 10-key calculator by touch
- Attention to detail and entering data accurately
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Must be able to exert up to 30 lbs. of force to occasionally lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects
- Diplomacy and tact in communication
- Ability to impart detailed information accurately and efficiently to Credit Union members and team members
