Job Summary
Bilingual Member Service Specialist who handles English and Spanish inquiries in a high-volume contact center, resolving member questions about CUTX products and services, assisting with online and mobile banking features, processing transactions, and maintaining compliant, accurate member records. Responsibilities include answering product questions in both languages, guiding customers through mobile/digital features, performing transfers and payments, handling account updates (address, phone, email, joint owners/beneficiaries), and providing professional, courteous service while adhering to bylaws, regulations, and internal procedures. Requires fluency in English and Spanish, strong communication skills, Microsoft Office proficiency, and experience in a fast-paced call center or customer service environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
- 1-2 years of call center, customer service, or related member services experience (credit union or financial institution preferred)
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)
- Ability to communicate clearly in both languages in a professional business setting
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of credit union policies and procedures
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish
