Job Summary
Develop new business by promoting Credit Union offerings to members and generating increased loan volume. Analyze member needs through personal contact to cross-sell products and services, while assisting Branch Management with recommendations on refunding fees. Open new accounts, process transactions, and investigate account problems within established authority. Acquire and maintain loan officer certification by working up minimum monthly loans and ensuring accurate loan decisions and recommendations. Perform quality control on loan records, member files, and savings activities, while identifying service improvements for management. Maintain adherence to all Credit Union policies and federal regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Equivalent to High School education with additional broad specialized training equivalent to 2 years college
- 2 to 3 years financial institution products and services
