Job Summary
Member Services Representative II focuses on member-focused sales and service, recommends products and services to meet members' financial needs, resolves inquiries and issues, and strives to meet or exceed sales, service, and productivity goals. The role requires maintaining accurate records, building professional relationships with members and staff, coordinating with management, and ensuring compliance with policies. The position includes registering with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) as a Mortgage Loan Originator and completing related compliance training. Strong communication, problem-solving, and PC skills are essential to succeed in this high-contact banking environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent education or experience
- One to two years of experience in a sales/customer service environment
- Prior experience in a financial/banking institution preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Must value a high degree of accuracy
- Professional demeanor
- Effective communication skills
- Basic PC skills (Windows)
- Assertive problem-solving skills
