Job Summary
Promote credit union products and services via telephone or in-person interactions while counseling members on investment opportunities and current promotions. Process member transactions including inquiries, mail handling, and authorized account changes, and assist with opening new accounts such as shares, drafts, and IRAs. Resolve basic and non-routine member inquiries regarding transaction errors, loan decisions, and policies, while providing phone support to the Call Center. Perform end-of-day branch reconciliation, maintain teller drawers, and balance ATMs as needed. Manage workflow with limited supervision and support other departments including Consumer Lending and Collections to ensure a seamless member experience. Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Two years experience within a financial institution with demonstrated success in a sales environment
- Expert knowledge of Teller functions
- Expert knowledge of MSR functions
- Expert knowledge of new accounts
- Expert knowledge of member service
- Expert knowledge of loan products
- Expert knowledge of credit union products and services
- Ability to manage workflow with limited supervision
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to professionally assist members with all credit union products and services in accordance with all credit union policies and procedures
- Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Word
- Expert knowledge of the credit union's core system
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must be able to effectively lead and coach others
