Job Summary
Process teller transactions, open and close accounts, solve problems, update member information, conduct loan application interviews, process loan applications, fund loans, and present loan disclosures. Maintain a balanced cash drawer while promoting financial products to meet member needs and achieve sales goals. Work seamlessly in the teller line to assist members from start to finish, ensuring accurate and efficient service. This role requires one year of financial institution experience or two years in sales/retail with cash handling. Bilingual English/Spanish skills and Symitar proficiency are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year of current financial institution experience as Teller or Member Service Representative OR two years of current sales, retail, or customer service experience with cash handling responsibilities
- Intermediate-level proficiency with computers and software applications, including Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Ability to offer solutions that meet our members' needs
- Flexibility to travel to other branches on occasion
Desired Qualifications
- Working knowledge of Symitar (Episys)
- Bilingual English/Spanish skills
