Job Summary
Deliver excellent service to members, guests, and program participants in-person and on the phone while conducting interviews, tours, and membership sales. Build relationships with members to help them connect with one another and the YMCA, handling concerns and resolving issues by applying all YMCA policies. May monitor locker rooms as required and actively participate in department meetings and training. Requires at least 16 years of age, previous customer service or sales experience, and the ability to work independently with attention to detail. Regular scheduled, on-site attendance is required, with evening or weekend shifts available.
Required Qualifications
- At least 16 years of age
- Excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills
- Previous customer service, sales or related experience
- Basic knowledge of computers
- Ability to work independently with attention to detail required
- Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community
- Successful clearance of background check
- Regular scheduled, on-site attendance required
- Ability to move around the work environment
- Sufficient strength, agility and mobility to perform essential functions required
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to sub weekend shifts preferred
