Job Summary
Process a variety of financial and non-financial transactions for members while providing sales and service expertise on new or changed products. Answer telephone inquiries and provide members access to safety deposit boxes, ensuring all end-of-day processing and balancing is completed timely per established procedures. Effectively listen to member concerns, ask probing questions to identify immediate financial needs, and resolve issues by sourcing information or referring members appropriately. Maintain keyboarding proficiency of 40 wpm and navigate online client data while conversing with members to ensure excellent service.
Required Qualifications
- Secondary school diploma with academic emphasis
- 1 year post-secondary education
- Up to 1 year of work experience in a sales and service position
- Keyboarding skills of 40 wpm
- Computer terminology
- Proficiency with Windows products such as Outlook, Word, and Excel applications
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to articulate in a clear, concise manner
- Effective listening skills
- Ability to multitask with keyboarding and internet/computer navigation skills
- Interviewing skills
- Ability to ask probing questions
- Flexibility to adapt to each request and move between a variety of member concerns/questions/requests
- Approachable problem solver
