Welcome on-site visitors, determine the nature of business, and guide them to appropriate personnel or assist directly. Receive checks and cash for deposit in person, via mail, or by night deposit, verifying amounts and examining checks for endorsements. Cash checks, complete withdrawals, and pay out money after verifying signatures and member balances. Enter members' transactions into the computer to record activity and issue receipts. Place holds on accounts for uncollected funds, order daily cash supplies, and count incoming cash. Balance currency, coin, and checks in the cash drawer at shift end, comparing totals with computer data. Explain, promote, and sell products or services that benefit the member. Research and resolve member inquiries, and complete transactions for money orders, cash advances, gift cards, savings bonds, cashier's checks, verifications, and loan payments. Use CDM/Recyclers to assist members in transactions. Assist other departments with filing, scanning, and phone tasks.
