Job Summary
Monitor the reception area, assist guests with check-in and check-out, and provide directions while ensuring the safety of employees and visitors. Maintain lobby areas in a professional, organized manner and conduct routine security rounds inspecting entrances, exits, and parking lots for concerns. Monitor security cameras, alarms, and access control systems to report suspicious activity, and respond appropriately to emergencies, disturbances, and security events. Serve as the primary point of contact for after-hours emergencies and receive, sort, and distribute mail and deliveries. Assist with room setup and facility configuration for programs and events. Requires five years of security experience, C.L.E.E.T certification, and a Health Care Sanctions background check.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to effectively monitor and observe surroundings to identify and respond to potential security concerns
- Ability to assess situations quickly, remain calm under pressure, respond effectively during emergency or high-stress situations, and exercise sound judgment when making decisions
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as a collaborative member of a team
- Must be capable of lifting and moving up to 50 pounds and performing physical activities such as walking, standing, bending, pushing, pulling, and carrying items throughout the workday
- Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality while exercising discretion in communications and interactions with employees, visitors, vendors, and the public
- Ability to converse and write fluently in English
- Successful completion of Health Care Sanctions background check
- High School Diploma or equivalency
- A minimum of five years of security experience
- C.L.E.E.T Certified
Desired Qualifications
- CPR/First Aid training preferred
