Job Summary
Coach front-line staff to maximize performance and instill a high-energy sales culture while modeling world-class service standards. Lead teller operations through direct backup support, member counseling on loans and products, and managing outbound calling to drive cross-sales and referrals. Process loan applications, verify collateral, disburse checks, and adhere to lending policies and underwriting guidelines. Assist Branch Manager and senior leadership in daily operations, including member relationship building and compliance with federal regulations. Work weekends and extended hours as needed to support special events and meet organizational goals.
Required Qualifications
- Passionate and enthusiastic
- Strong leadership skills; including planning, organizational, communication, mentoring, coaching, staff development, and goal setting
- World-class service skills
- Intermediate knowledge of credit union products; services; loan policies and procedures
- Strong sales and sales coaching skills
- Knowledge of federal and state regulations relating to credit union operations management
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Knowledge of intermediate math (calculations and concepts involving decimals, percentages, fractions, etc.)
- Availability to work weekends and extended hours, as needed
- Availability to attend special off site sales events and credit union functions, as needed
- Outgoing personality, with the ability to ask for new business and capable of making outbound phone calls
- Works well with others and follows directions
- Able to work independently
