Job Summary
Coach and mentor front-line staff to maximize performance while instilling a high-energy sales culture. Lead teller operations, including backup support, and manage day-to-day branch activities alongside senior leadership. Direct outbound calling efforts to drive new business and cross-sell products, while counseling members on loans, repayment terms, and collateral. Process loan applications, verify signatures, manage security interests, and disburse checks in strict adherence to lending policies and federal regulations. Maintain accurate member records and credit ratings, attending special events as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Passionate and enthusiastic
- Strong leadership skills; including planning, organizational, communication, mentoring, coaching, staff development, and goal setting
- World-class service skills
- Intermediate knowledge of credit union products; services; loan policies and procedures
- Strong sales and sales coaching skills
- Knowledge of federal and state regulations relating to credit union operations management
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Knowledge of intermediate math (calculations and concepts involving decimals, percentages, fractions, etc.)
- Availability to work weekends and extended hours, as needed
- Availability to attend special off site sales events and credit union functions, as needed
- Outgoing personality, with the ability to ask for new business and capable of making outbound phone calls
- Works well with others and follows directions
- Able to work independently
- Detail oriented
- Willing to make underwriting decisions
- This position requires a high school education
- This position is also required to become a notary
