Job Summary
Member Operations Specialist responsible for running virtual clinics and care-operations across UK, South Africa, and the US. Own clinician scheduling, appointment triage, and operational workflows to keep Stella and Vira Member Zone running smoothly; triage member inquiries across Intercom, email, and Slack; manage clinical governance workflows, including safety reporting, utilisation tracking, US credentialing, payer eligibility, and chart audits; identify and address operational pain points by partnering with clinical, product, and operations teams to evolve processes. Requires 2+ years in clinical operations or healthcare member support, strong knowledge of the US healthcare system, excellent written and verbal communication, ability to work autonomously in a remote async environment, and proficiency with tools such as ClickUp, Slack, Intercom, Healthie, and JustCall. Remote-first with international teams; multi-jurisdictional clinical delivery experience and a commitment to serving diverse communities. Experienced in telehealth or digital health operations and comfortable navigating cross-border workflows.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years in clinical operations, virtual care, or healthcare member support
- Working knowledge of the US healthcare system
- Own US-facing workflows day-to-day (payer eligibility, clinician credentialing, collaboration agreements, chart audits)
- Strong attention to detail; follow SOPs precisely
- Ability to work in a remote, async environment and drive work forward
- Strong prioritisation across competing queues and timezones (UK, SA, US)
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Comfort with digital platforms and health technology tools (ClickUp, Slack, Intercom, Healthie, JustCall)
