Job Summary
The Member of Technical Staff — AI/ML role involves designing, building, and deploying AI-powered systems to enhance financial operations. Responsibilities include creating production-ready AI applications, optimizing features like invoice matching and payment reconciliation, and fine-tuning models for financial use cases. Successful candidates will have a strong software engineering background with significant experience in AI/ML, particularly in production environments, and proficiency in Python with frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow. This position entails collaboration across teams to develop effective AI solutions and measuring the impact of these systems.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of software engineering experience
- at least 2 years focused on applied AI/ML in production environments
- experience integrating and fine-tuning LLMs for real-world applications
- experience building retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems
- understanding of MLOps best practices
- fluent in Python
- experienced with PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Transformers
- experience shipping AI products that solved real business problems
- strong experience with data preprocessing and feature engineering for AI
- ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- experience integrating AI systems into existing enterprise platforms
