Job Summary
Member of Technical Staff on the Capabilities team owns systems spanning the agent product, core engine, and evaluation of Skills and Artifacts. Build primitives (Skills, Workflows, Artifacts) for Computer’s end-to-end capability integration, bring new model capabilities into product, collaborate with the agent engine layer (context management, tool calling, planning, long-horizon execution), design and maintain evaluation systems (benchmarks, evals, rubrics), and set technical direction through design reviews and mentorship. Technical scope includes deep understanding of frontier LLM reasoning, scalability of distributed systems, and hands-on engagement with AI product development. Tech stack includes Python, Go, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, AWS, TypeScript, and React; emphasizes ownership, craftsmanship, and fast iteration. NICE TO HAVE experiences include agentic systems, developer platforms, evaluation/quality systems for ML/LLM-powered products, and high-ownership teams.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong backend / Full Stack engineering skills
- Demonstrated technical leadership
- Strong product judgment and ownership instincts
- Comfort with data-informed decisions
