Member of Technical Staff — Software Engineer (Backend)
On-siteBuenos Aires, Buenos Aires F.D., Argentina
Job Summary
Build end-to-end product features across responsive web interfaces, APIs, backend services, and data models. Design, build, and evolve scalable backend APIs, services, and data flows that support reliable, multi-tenant SaaS capabilities. Write high-quality, maintainable code; participate in code reviews; and improve testing, performance, accessibility, security, and observability. Investigate production issues, participate in follow-the-sun on-call rotation as well as post-incident follow-ups, and use what you learn to prevent repeat problems. Collaborate across product, design, and engineering in a global team, communicating trade-offs clearly and helping ship customer value quickly. Build skills and automations that help our infrastructure and application engineering teams implement, build, and deploy services faster and more reliably. Improve observability, alerting, and cost visibility across services, in line with our resource tagging and telemetry standards. Use AI-assisted development tools responsibly to accelerate learning, implementation, testing, and documentation.

- experience designing and developing APIs, backend services, and SDKs
- understanding of relational and NoSQL databases, asynchronous processing, and the trade-offs involved in building scalable, reliable systems
- experience shipping user-facing features and care deeply about usability, performance, reliability, security, and thoughtful interaction design
- writing clean, well-tested code and being comfortable with code review, debugging, and working through ambiguous product and technical problems
- strong communication and collaboration skills, and being comfortable working across a distributed, global team
- comfort designing and implementing in an AI-first organization
- BS/MS in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
Desired Qualifications

- worked with AI/ML-powered product capabilities, including LLM applications, agentic workflows, search, or recommendation systems
- contributed to reusable component libraries, internal developer tooling, or open-source projects
- exposure to observability stacks (metrics, logs, traces) and OpenTelemetry
- solid working knowledge of infrastructure as code, ideally Terraform, and being comfortable with YAML, Helm charts, HCL, and Argo CD
