Job Summary
Own the development of medium to large complexity features by turning requirements into architectural specifications and implementing new capabilities while improving existing ones. Address broad architecture and build issues for current and future products, providing strategic direction on technology evaluation. Collaborate with product management to define new features, ensuring high-quality code and documentation across multiple platforms including Windows and Macintosh. Provide leadership within the division and mentor engineers, specializing in one or more platforms with a focus on image processing.
Required Qualifications
- B.Tech/M.Tech from a premier institute
- 2 to 4 years of hands-on build and development experience in software development
- Experience in a product development organization
- Strong programming skills in C/C++
- Knowledge of software fundamentals including building and analysis of algorithms
- Data structure development, implementation, documentation, and unit testing
- Good understanding of object-oriented development
- Knowledge of product life cycles and associated issues
- Experience in application development on multiple platforms, including various flavors of Windows and Macintosh
- Excellent computer science fundamentals with a good understanding of architecture, development, and performance
- Ability to work proactively and independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent great teammate with good written and oral communication skills
