Job Summary
Member of Technical Staff, Backend at Portworx in Bangalore. Design and develop cloud native microservices for Portworx products, focusing on robust code, unit/functional testing, code reviews, and CI/CD. Debug performance issues in large-scale clusters using AI tooling. Collaborate with peers and stakeholders to take solutions from design to production, and take ownership of design and development while incorporating customer feedback. Explore new technologies to push state-of-the-art solutions. Role is in-office with Bangalore office required unless on PTO or travel. Requires BS in Computer Science and 7+ years of experience in designing, developing, and testing enterprise software (Golang preferred). Must have strong microservice architecture knowledge, debugging skills, and ability to work with product management and beta partners. Willingness to work in an open office environment.
Required Qualifications
- BS in Computer Science
- 7+ years of experience in Designing, Development and Testing of Enterprise products
- Good understanding of Microservice Architectures and Cloud Native platforms
- Designing and owning micro services to operate and scale in a distributed system architecture
- Expert debugging skills and ability to navigate through ambiguous problems at scale in public/private cloud environments
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders from product management to customer beta partners
- Proven design sensibility and the willingness to work in a collaborative, team oriented environment
- Solid CS background in data structures, algorithms and software design
- Must be willing and able to work in an open office environment
