Job Summary
Architect and develop bespoke internal Enterprise Productivity applications powered by Agentic AI, including smart recruiting tools, contextual assistants, and semantic search. Take full lifecycle ownership of these applications using the Databricks Apps platform to streamline deployment, hosting, and scaling. Act as a highly autonomous self-starter to define what needs to be built, collaborating with internal stakeholders to gather requirements, rapidly prototype, and ruthlessly prioritize the roadmap. Continuously evaluate the evolving AI ecosystem to drive "build vs. buy" decisions for internal tooling, ensuring maximum speed and efficiency. Serve as the founding engineer for the Agentic Applications pod, directly accelerating business operations while setting the technical foundation for how AI agents augment day-to-day work.
Required Qualifications
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years of full-stack software engineering experience across both frontend and backend development
- Strong programming proficiency in Python and/or modern JavaScript ecosystems (Node.js, React, Next.js, etc.)
- Hands-on experience building agentic applications, including LLM orchestration (e.g., LangChain or similar frameworks)
- Solid database fundamentals, with practical experience using both standard SQL databases and Vector databases
- Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD, and taking end-to-end operational ownership of application deployment
- An 'AI-native' development workflow, comfortable utilizing AI coding assistants like Cursor, Claude Code, or Codex
- Provide demoable personal or past projects showcasing relevant full-stack or AI-driven builds
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in enterprise application development, particularly building internal productivity or operations tools
- Deep understanding of application security, including implementing authentication protocols (e.g., SSO, OAuth, SAML) and robust access controls
- Proven expertise in designing and deploying robust RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines and utilizing advanced prompt engineering techniques
- Hands-on experience deploying, scaling, and maintaining applications in major cloud environments (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure)
