Job Summary
Role focuses on assisting field engineers, technicians, and product support in diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing and debugging complex systems (electro/mechanical equipment, computer, complex software, or networked and wireless systems). Key responsibilities include gathering customer requirements and planning deployment of NFV-based IMS solutions, implementing solutions and integration with other network elements, understanding call flows, running scripts and commands to deploy, test, and troubleshoot virtualized IMS network functions, collaborating with onshore and offshore colleagues and clients, and creating project documentation such as procedures, acceptance testing documentation, and high/low-level designs.
Required Qualifications
- Engineering degree
- Computer Science/ Electronics Engineering Degree
- 3-10 years of experience
- Rich experience in IMS core entities
- Experience with SIP call processing and SIP supplementary services
- Hands-on deployment of IMS network in cloud environment
- Excellent debugging skills for deployment issues
- Experience with TLS, TCP, IPSEC, IP protocols
- Knowledge of Session Border Controller, NAT, Firewall
- Understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching
