Job Summary
Open business accounts, conduct local outreach and canvassing, and identify opportunities to welcome new organizations into the SkyOne family. Nurture existing partnerships with Select Employer Groups and build new connections to expand the credit union's community presence. Guide meaningful conversations that uncover member needs, strengthen relationships, and support branch sales outcomes through the SOAR service and sales model. Coach and develop team members while helping lead productive meetings to foster a culture of accountability and service excellence.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum one year of financial institution experience
- Minimum one year of sales experience
- Demonstrated success in sales, cross‐selling, or performance‐based roles
- Strong coaching, mentoring, and communication skills (verbal, written, and phone)
- Proven ability to cross-sell products and hold effective, consultative conversations
- Solid understanding of financial products and services
- Proficient with Windows, Word, Excel, internet navigation, 10-key, and general typing
- Goal-oriented, dependable, and able to maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Demonstrates a professional presence, creative thinking, and a growth-oriented mindset
- Must have a high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality
- Strong leadership skills
- Strong understanding of SkyOne's products, services, and compliance requirements
- Experience with business development activities, including canvassing and community outreach
