Job Summary
Member Experience Representative role at the YMCA focusing on member engagement, growth, and retention. Responsibilities include greeting and assisting members, conducting tours, connecting health-seekers with wellness staff, scheduling new member orientations, processing member IDs and passes, responding to inquiries, and supporting the Annual Giving Campaign. Emphasis on building authentic relationships, promoting YMCA values, and collaborating with wellness coaches to ensure a welcoming member experience. Requires strong customer service, communication, basic computer skills, ability to work evenings and weekends, 18+ years old, and preferred associate degree with related experience; CPR/First Aid/AED/Oxygen certification or credentialing within 30 days. Bilingual skills preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- Associate’s degree, two years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
- Current certification in CPR/First Aid/AED/Oxygen administration or obtain certification within 30 days of hire
- Computer skills and ability to learn appropriate computer programs related to the position
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Outgoing personality and a desire to be helpful to others
- Must be able to stand for the majority of shift
- Bilingual skills preferred
