Job Summary
Conduct daily member outreach by sharing In-Shape's fitness philosophy, providing membership options, and guiding guests through the FitStart program and club amenities. Deliver exceptional service by answering member inquiries via phone or in person, assisting with mobile app setup, and recommending retail items aligned with individual fitness goals. Monitor pool and slide operations during the season while ensuring strict adherence to safety policies, cleanliness standards, and company guidelines. Resolve member concerns promptly and maintain a welcoming environment that exceeds expectations. Work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Passionate about fitness and helping others in their fitness journey
- Basic fitness and sales experience
- Excellent communication and listening skills both in-person and phone
- Demonstrated customer service experience: friendly, outgoing, and approachable disposition
- Works well under pressure and time constraints, and displays positive behavior in all member contacts
- Basic computer skills
- Willing and able to work a flexible shift: evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Current CPR or ability to pass CPR certification within 60 days of hire date
- First Aid Training, required only at clubs with pool slides
