Job Summary
Member Engagement Specialist responsible for developing and delivering member-facing messaging and assets across channels for governance meetings and Member Engagement programs. Executes communications plans, supports events and program materials (handbooks, orientation communications, collateral), provides on-site and pre-event support for conferences, develops marketing and communications deliverables (newsletters, social media, web, email, print), maintains content calendars and workflows, tracks engagement metrics, and supports governance communities on the organization’s engagement platform. Requires collaboration across teams, strong writing/editing skills, ability to manage multiple projects with deadlines, and occasional travel up to 15%. Hybrid work schedule; 3 days in-office per week.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, journalism, business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3-5 years of experience in communications, member/customer engagement, events, or program operations
- Strong writing, editing, and message-development skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines, coordinate stakeholders, and maintain organized workflows
- Experience in association management or non-profit organizations a plus
- Ability to travel up to 15% for live events
- Hybrid schedule with in-office days
