Job Summary
Remote Member Engagement Specialist conducts telephonic outreach and identified-member screening for care management, processes referrals from data reports and care teams, schedules face-to-face or telephonic follow-ups, and documents activities while complying with HIPAA; role involves occasional in-person training/travel and can be performed remotely within regions to support statewide CCNC programs. Requires high school diploma or GED, at least two years of healthcare-related experience, strong communication and organizational skills, ability to work independently, and familiarity with care management concepts; bilingual ability is preferred. The position emphasizes engaging members in care management services, meeting productivity metrics, and maintaining professional demeanor while supporting diverse teams.
Required Qualifications

- Minimum of two years previous work experience, preferably in a health care setting
- Healthcare experience and medical terminology knowledge
- Bilingual preferred
- Managed care experience a plus
