Job Summary
The Member Correspondence Specialist provides advanced administrative support to Portico's Benefits Administration unit, handling member and employer correspondence, creating and distributing technical correspondence using macros and merged documents, and ensuring records are imaged and filed electronically. The role involves processing daily mail and e-mails, maintaining CRM entries, preparing monthly mailings, updating reports, and delivering training to team members. The position requires independent work, strong organizational skills, proficiency in Word and Excel, CRM experience, and the ability to navigate governance, risk, and compliance standards in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 1-2 years of related work experience in customer service, human resources, or benefits administration
- Experience with CRM, SharePoint, Doc Archive, preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to communicate complex concepts in simple, creative, and visual ways
- Willingness to participate in on-going learning and professional development activities
