Job Summary
Answer incoming telephone calls to resolve member problems, quote savings and loan rates, and process payroll deductions. Assist customers with ordering checks, statements, and check copies while calculating dividends and loan payments. Provide general information, set up automatic transfers, and advise on investment opportunities. Cross-sell credit union products and manage account openings, adjustments, and closures. Meet monthly sales and service goals to earn incentives. Located in Pasadena, this role requires strong oral communication skills, basic accounting knowledge, and proficiency in data entry.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- a working knowledge of customer service procedures at the Credit Union preferred
- very effective oral communications skills and patience to work with the public
- basic accounting skills sufficient to process and balance accounts
- strong personal computer skills, especially data entry
- must be able to cross-sell products and services
