Job Summary
Member Consultant II at BECU responsible for delivering a seamless and high-quality member experience. Utilize product knowledge to provide excellent customer service and sales across business services, consumer lending, deposit servicing, IRA, POA, and Fiduciary accounts; sign all line and loan documents originated through outbound/inbound call center. Assist community with financial wellness, budgeting, debt management, and access to financial planning resources. Requires Bachelor's Degree or equivalent related experience and at least two years in a sales-oriented financial/retail environment; Spanish language fluency is highly desirable. Training includes a 12-week in-house program; role involves travel between POD branches with a one-year commitment. Schedule typically includes flexible shifts and up to 3 Saturdays per month. Location support is based on business needs; rotation across POD branches within the Soundview District (Lake City, Northgate, Ravenna). Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent related experience
- Minimum two years of experience in a sales-oriented, financial, or retail environment
- Strong understanding of sales process and ability to manage a sales pipeline
- Proficiency with learning new systems and programs
- Knowledge of Credit Union objectives, products and services, and related regulations
- Proficient verbal and written communication
- Ability to work flexible shifts and travel between branches for first-year rotation
