Job Summary
Greet members, assess financial needs, and assist with deposits, withdrawals, and account transfers. Process teller transactions using Symitar, input loan application data into Akcelerant, and generate required loan documents for underwriting review. Act as a trusted advisor by recommending products, counseling on financial improvement, and cross-selling services based on thorough needs assessments. Verify check endorsements, receive payments, and input member activity into Synapsys MRM while adhering to security policies and regulatory reporting. Identify sales opportunities, attend business development events, and resolve member queries within authority or seeking supervisor approval. Requires two years of lending or branch operations experience, high school diploma, and proficiency in Symitar, Akcelerant, and Synapsys MRM. Required Qualifications
- Minimum two (2) years' experience in lending or branch operations area
- High school diploma
- Excellent positive member/customer service and interpersonal skills
- Excellent math skills and the ability to effectively communicate with members
- Familiarity with teller loan documents, lending regulations and credit union policies and procedures
- Proficient in the use of Symitar for posting teller transactions and inquiry on deposit accounts and loan accounts
- Proficient in the Akcelerant to perform basic inquiry on loan applications in process, input loan applications, and disburse approved loans
- Proficient in Synapsys MRM, to act on PSO's, create and input to events, and retrieve and read My Sales reports
- Excellent oral, written and telephone communication skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Keyboarding 40 w.p.m.
- PC applications proficient
- The ability to lift 25 lbs.
- Ability to function in a financial institution environment
