Job Summary
Review daily melt schedules and prepare aluminum alloys to keep production moving. Load furnaces with ingot and recycled metal, monitor temperatures, and create high-quality castings by skimming impurities and maintaining furnace conditions. Coordinate safe metal movement and pouring to designated molds while collecting test samples with the Metallurgical Lab to ensure quality standards. Follow product specifications and work instructions for precision aerospace and defense components. Perform equipment checks, maintain 6S standards, and support a safe, organized foundry environment. Full-time steady work with on-the-job training available.
