Job Summary
The MEL and CARM Specialist will play a critical role in overseeing the monitoring and evaluation processes for the Ethiopia Conflict Sensitivity Hub, focusing on collaboration with consortium partners, designing and implementing surveys, and providing data-driven insights. The Specialist will be responsible for developing and ensuring effective performance monitoring and reporting systems, mentoring program staff, and integrating conflict sensitivity into organizational practices. A key aspect of the role includes leading outcome harvesting exercises and narrative reporting to donors while developing strategic partnerships with academic institutions for enhanced learning and advocacy.
Required Qualifications
- BA/master’s degree in economics, statistics, monitoring and evaluation, project management or another relevant field required
- Demonstrated expertise in managing consortium-based programs, ensuring effective collaboration, coordination, and alignment among diverse partners
Desired Qualifications
- 5-7 years of experience in program development and monitoring, evaluation and learning in Humanitarian, Development, and Peacebuilding program contexts
- Demonstrated experience in facilitation, training, and mentoring of others
- Proven capacity to effectively collaborate with colleagues online and offline
- Strong understanding of conflict analysis tools and methodologies
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work effectively with consortium partners and donors
