Job Summary
Full-Time Meetings & Events Sales Coordinator at Sofitel Auckland Viaduct Harbour. You’ll be the go-to person once events are confirmed, owning the coordination process from proposals through delivery and billing; act as the main client contact and ensure a smooth experience throughout. You’ll prepare accurate event orders (BEOs) and coordinate with operational teams, F&B, and external suppliers to deliver high-quality events. You’ll support the sales team with enquiries, site inspections, and showcasing event spaces, and identify opportunities to upsell and maximise revenue throughout the planning process. You’ll maintain accurate records and pipelines using CRM and sales systems, bringing organization, proactive communication, and a client-first mindset to a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Required Qualifications
- 1–2 years’ experience in events, hospitality or a similar environment
- strong attention to detail
