Job Summary
Lead and motivate the events sales team to secure bookings across meetings, weddings, and corporate events; identify new business opportunities and stay aware of local developments and competitors; design and deliver the sales activity plan; ensure accurate contracts and quotes are issued; understand guests' needs, conduct show-arounds, and promote all services offered; drive revenue by securing new business, encouraging repeat customers, and achieving targets. The role is based at Village Hotel Club locations in the UK, including Cheadle, with a focus on delivering exceptional hospitality experiences and growing the events and groups business.
Required Qualifications
- Experience leading or managing a sales team in hospitality or events
- Strong commercial acumen
- Ability to design and deliver the sales activity plan
- Ability to issue contracts and quotes accurately
- Customer-focused with the ability to understand guest needs and promote services
