Job Summary
The Meeting Account Manager will oversee all operational and logistical aspects of meetings and events for AbbVie, coordinating with clients, internal teams, and third-party vendors to execute a comprehensive meeting calendar aligned with business objectives. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining meeting specifications and budgets, coordinating venue search and contract negotiations, managing RFP/SOW processes, ensuring compliance (including HCP-related and regulatory guidelines), overseeing travel and on-site logistics, managing invoices and ICB/finance processes, and delivering cross-functional support across departments to optimize cost and service quality. Critical skills include strong project management, stakeholder collaboration, budget management, vendor/supplier management, attention to detail in planning and execution, familiarity with industry tools (e.g., StarCite, Lanyon), and excellent communication and presentation abilities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree is required
- Certified CMP / CTSM
- 7+ years of work experience
