Job Summary
Deliver ventricular medical device education and case support in ICU, OR, and Cath Lab settings while managing patient rounds and on-call duties. Acquire product knowledge, collaborate with the Clinical Support Center, and maintain clinical competency through continual learning. Provide minimum two days of live field support per month, including weekend availability, with some travel required. Requires RN or APP license, three years of cardiac ICU/Or/Cath Lab experience, and significant ventricular device case history. Base pay is $60.00 per hour for this part-time role.
Required Qualifications
- Clinical certification
- 3+ years' experience with a strong clinical background in the Cardiac ICU (CICU), Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU), Cardiovascular OR (CVOR), or Catheterization Lab (Cath Lab)
- Significant experience with ventricular medical device (minimum of 10 cases/patients supported)
- Must provide a minimum of (2) days of live support within the field
- Total of (5) days of availability per month
- Availability must include (1) weekend per month
- Ability to work on weekends, nights, holidays as well as weekdays
- Ability to work at other hospitals aside from base location
Desired Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN)/Advanced Practice Provider (APP) license
- CVICU experience
- Some industry experience
