Job Summary
Deliver ventricular medical device education and case support in ICU, OR, and Cath Lab settings to improve patient outcomes. Acquire product knowledge and complete proactive rounds for patients receiving support while collaborating with the Clinical Support Center. Maintain clinical competency through continual learning and education, providing at least two days of live field support with five days of monthly availability including weekends. Work nights, holidays, and at hospitals outside the base location. Requires RN/APP license and significant ventricular device experience.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years' experience with a strong clinical background in the Cardiac ICU (CICU), Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU), Cardiovascular OR (CVOR), or Catheterization Lab (Cath Lab)
- CVICU experience
- Significant experience with ventricular medical device
- minimum of 10 cases/patients supported
- Must provide a minimum of (2) days of live support within the field
- total of (5) days of availability per month
- Availability must include (1) weekend per month
- Ability to work on weekends, nights, holidays as well as weekdays
- Ability to work at other hospitals aside from base location
Desired Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN)/Advanced Practice Provider (APP) license
- Perfusionists and cardiovascular specialists
- Some industry experience
