Job Summary
Troubleshoot, repair, and update automated medication dispensing systems in hospitals and pharmacies. Replace hardware parts, perform software updates and calibrations, and conduct preventative maintenance as determined by the customer. Assist in installing new devices, perform routine system checks, and maintain assigned parts and tools. Be available on-call including nights and weekends, responding to service tickets within agreed timeframes. Travel locally up to 2-3 hours for customer support while holding an active driver's license. This part-time role involves intermediate troubleshooting in electronics and electromechanical systems with training provided.
Required Qualifications
- Must have intermediate troubleshooting abilities in the disciplines of electronics, mechanics, and electromechanical systems
- Must have an active driver license and a personal vehicle to use for job related assignments
- Must be available on-call including nights and weekends
- Must be able to lift 70 LBS
- Must be able to push, pull, stoop, bend
- Must be able to travel locally for up to 2-3 hours to support customer needs
- Must be able to respond to and arrive at customer sites within the service ticket's Service Level Agreement (within 4 hours, 8 hours, 12 hours, or 24 hours per the details of each ticket)
- Must be able to clear hospital vendor credentialing requirements
- Must have proof of vaccination status
- Must have completed Measles, Mumps & Rubella vaccine
- Must have completed Varicella (chicken pox) vaccine
- Must have completed Negative Tuberculosis (TB) Test
- Must have completed Tetanus, Diphtheria & Pertussis (Tdap) vaccine
- Must have completed Hepatitis B vaccine
- Must have completed Influenza vaccine (seasonal)
- Must have completed COVID-19 vaccine primary series
- Must be able to work independently in customer settings with minimal supervision
Desired Qualifications
- Experience as a military technician, computer technician or other complex electronics technician
- Experience supporting automation equipment in a healthcare setting
- Experience in healthcare, field service, engineering, biomedical, maintenance, customer service, pharmacy technician, electronics, electrical, technical work, or IT
- A+ certification
