Job Summary

Perform software upgrades and installations for automated medication dispensing devices at hospitals. Conduct routine functionality checks, troubleshoot device and network issues, and follow calibration protocols for equipment servicing. Educate healthcare staff on device utilization and maintain vendor credentialing compliance. Manage personal parts inventory sourced from approved vendors. Requires extensive travel and availability Monday–Friday, 28–32 hours weekly, with some nights and weekends. Must hold a US work authorization; visa sponsorship unavailable.

Required Qualifications

  • Ability to travel extensively for field-based service assignments
  • 1+ year of technical experience
  • Authorization to work in the US without the need for sponsorship
  • Must maintain personal parts inventory, sourcing from approved vendors
  • Open availability Monday–Friday
  • Work 28–32 hours per week, plus travel time
  • Some nights and weekends based on customer needs
  • Regional, national, and local travel
  • Compliance with hospital vendor credentialing requirements
  • Measles, Mumps & Rubella vaccine
  • Varicella (chicken pox) vaccine
  • Negative Tuberculosis (TB) Test
  • Tetanus, Diphtheria & Pertussis (Tdap) vaccine

Desired Qualifications

  • Associate degree in biomedical, IT, electronics, or a related field
  • 3+ years in a field technician role
  • Experience in IT support, electronics, biomedical engineering, or pharmacy technology
